As a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Alat is set to propel Saudi Arabia into a world-class manufacturing hub by fostering sustainable practices, aiding partner companies in emissions reduction, and promoting carbon-zero manufacturing.
With a resolute commitment to utilizing clean energy, Alat aims to invest USD 100 billion by 2030, amplifying technological advancements in Saudi Arabia's industrial landscape. This initiative not only seeks to bolster the technological sector but also to empower the private sector and elevate the commercial environment through strategic collaborations with leading international technology manufacturers.

In a bid to accelerate its ambitious plans, Alat has forged four significant global partnerships:
Softbank Group: Teaming up with Softbank, one of the world's largest technology investment groups, Alat is set to establish a state-of-the-art industrial automation business in Saudi Arabia. The collaboration aims to invest up to USD 150 million in creating a fully automated manufacturing and engineering hub for groundbreaking industrial robots, slated to commence operations by December 2024.
Carrier Corporation: A global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, Carrier Corporation will collaborate with Alat to develop an advanced manufacturing and R&D facility in Saudi Arabia. This facility is geared towards decarbonizing emissions in buildings and significantly enhancing energy efficiency, with a focus on delivering cutting-edge HVAC solutions. The partnership is expected to generate over 5,000 local jobs.
Dahua Technology Ltd: A prominent player in the security and safety sector, Dahua Technology, in collaboration with Alat, will invest USD 200 million to establish Alat AIVisio Technology Co. Ltd. The joint venture aims to manufacture and market vision-centric products for safety and surveillance use in Intelligent Cities, Intelligent Buildings, and Enterprise Applications. The partnership also includes the development of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia.
Tahakom: Collaborating with Alat, Tahakom, a leader in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), seeks to advance smart mobility and intelligent cities solutions in alignment with Saudi Arabia Vision 2030. The partnership will involve joint efforts in solution designs, product specifications, R&D, and innovation functions, contributing to the realization of technology roadmaps.
