KERNO, spearheaded by industry veterans from Nokia and IBM, plans to locally manufacture enterprise-class server, storage, and network equipment to meet the escalating demand for advanced infrastructure solutions in the Middle East Region. With a commitment to fostering local talent, KERNO is set to collaborate extensively with the UAE's ecosystem, adopting an ambitious 'Made-in-UAE' plan. This strategy involves retaining development, manufacturing, and support functions within the UAE, leveraging the country's global trading hub status to access markets worldwide.
Utilizing the NextGenFDI program, KERNO aims to expedite the launch of its operations in the UAE. The company anticipates its 5,000 sqm manufacturing facility (SMT & Assembly) to be fully operational by the 3rd quarter of this year, with the initial batch of UAE-made enterprise-class products reaching customers by the 1st quarter of the following year.
