The Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) celebrated a momentous occasion on Sunday morning as it hosted its second graduation ceremony at the University City Hall in Sharjah. The ceremony marked the academic achievements of over 500 students who successfully completed their respective programs in education.
Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, President of the Sharjah Education Academy, presided over the ceremony. Her Highness delivered a speech acknowledging the graduates' hard work and dedication, emphasizing their role in shaping the future of education in the United Arab Emirates.
This graduating class boasted a diverse range of qualifications, including the Master's in Teacher Leadership English program, the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) offered in both Arabic and English tracks, and the Early Childhood Education Certification programs designed for leaders, teachers, and teacher assistants.
Dr. Janine Romano, the Executive Director of SEA, provided a detailed breakdown of the graduating class. She highlighted that 133 students graduated from the PGDE program's English track, while 34 students completed the program in Arabic. The inaugural Master in Teacher Leadership program witnessed the graduation of 12 students.
The Early Childhood Education Certification programs also saw a significant number of graduates. Dr. Romano announced that 50 students graduated from the Leadership track, 146 from the Teacher track, and a substantial group of 160 from the Classroom Assistant track.
The ceremony wasn't just about academic achievements; it was a celebration of personal growth and transformation.
