Flydubai followed suit, announcing an order for 30 Boeing 787-9s, while airBaltic committed to 30 Airbus A220-300s. These deals underline the industry’s robust recovery and growth prospects post-pandemic.
The Dubai Airshow also spotlighted emerging trends in aerospace, including advancements in space technology. The event featured a dedicated Space Pavilion, which hosted the latest innovations from leading space organizations. Notably, the show included the world’s first national regulations on vertiports, aiming to facilitate the integration of flying taxis into urban transportation by 2026.
