The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi saw a significant influx of worshippers and tourists, with 4,379,258 individuals visiting the mosque in the first half of 2024. This figure underscores the mosque's role as a major cultural and religious hub.

April 21 marked the peak of daily attendance, with 63,919 worshippers, reflecting the mosque's capacity to host large gatherings during significant religious events. Ramadan 1444 A.H. was particularly notable, with 852,714 visits recorded during this holy month, emphasizing the mosque's pivotal role during religious observances. The combination of evening and Taraweeh prayers and the Tahajjud prayers during Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr attracted 452,047 Muslims, demonstrating the mosque’s religious significance.

International visitors accounted for 81% of the total, highlighting the mosque's status as a top global tourist destination. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is not only a place of worship but also a cultural landmark, ranking high in several global tourism categories. According to TripAdvisor's Travellers Choice Awards for 2022, the mosque was first in the region and fourth in the Top Attractions category worldwide. It also ranked eighth in the subcategory of Top Cultural & Historical Tours.
