Emirates Adds Second Daily A380 Flight to Bali

Emirates will introduce a second daily Airbus A380 flight from Dubai to Bali, responding to the heightened seasonal demand for travel to the Indonesian island. This move underscores Emirates' commitment to enhancing its services and connectivity within Southeast Asia.

Starting on August 1, the additional flight will join the existing daily A380 service, offering passengers more options and convenience. The A380, known for its luxurious features, will provide 58 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 557 seats in Economy Class. Passengers can enjoy Emirates' renowned amenities, including the Onboard Lounge and a diverse range of in-flight entertainment options.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the significance of this expansion, stating that the A380's introduction to Bali reflects the airline's dedication to delivering exceptional service. He also acknowledged the collaborative efforts with Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport to ensure smooth operations for the A380.

Bali, a popular destination for both leisure and business travelers, is expected to benefit economically from the increased connectivity. Faik Fahmi, President Director of PT. Angkasa Pura I, welcomed the new service, noting its potential to boost tourism and investment in Indonesia. The partnership with Emirates, along with regulatory support from the Ministry of Transportation, marks a milestone for Indonesian aviation.

Emirates has been operating flights to Indonesia since 1992, beginning with Jakarta and later adding Bali in 2015. The airline currently operates 28 weekly flights to Indonesia, connecting passengers to 29 domestic destinations through partnerships with Garuda Indonesia and Batik Air. This extensive network facilitates seamless travel from Bali to Europe, the Americas, and beyond.

The decision to deploy a second A380 to Bali is part of Emirates' broader strategy to expand its A380 network, which now serves 41 destinations globally. By the end of summer, this number is expected to grow to nearly 50, reflecting the airline's efforts to meet rising travel demands.

This initiative aligns with Emirates' ongoing commitment to supporting tourism and economic growth in key markets. As international travel continues to recover, the enhanced services to Bali are poised to attract more visitors to the island, further strengthening its position as a premier travel destination.
