Global Military Leaders Convene at Army-2024 Forum in Moscow

Moscow's Patriot Expo and Kubinka Air Base have become the center of attention as the 10th International Military-Technical Forum, known as Army-2024, kicked off. Organized by the Russian Ministry of Defence, this prestigious event has attracted military delegations from 83 countries, with high-ranking officials from 39 nations, including defense ministers and chiefs of general staff, leading their respective teams.

The forum, which spans over 340,000 square meters, features over 1,000 companies, both Russian and international, showcasing more than 20,000 advanced military technologies and equipment. Among the key participants are industry giants from Belarus, Iran, India, and China, each presenting national exhibitions and individual stands that highlight their contributions to the global defense sector.

Discussions at the forum are not merely confined to technology displays. Bilateral meetings are scheduled between the heads of foreign delegations and Russian officials, including representatives from the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation and state arms exporter Rosoboronexport. These meetings aim to bolster defense industry cooperation, with a particular focus on exploring new avenues for collaboration in the arms trade and security services.
