The deployment will feature a range of cruises, including a 2-night Sir Bani Yas weekend cruise, a 3-night Oman cruise to Khasab and Muscat, and a 2-night Doha cruise. These cruises can be combined for extended voyages of up to 7 nights, catering to a broad spectrum of travelers. Additionally, during the Qatar school holidays from October 24 to November 2, 2024, Resorts World One will also operate from Doha, further expanding its reach in the region.
With this expansion, Resorts World Cruises aims to enhance the cruise tourism sector in the Arabian Gulf by attracting tourists from Asia and other regions. The company expects Resorts World One to make 75 port calls during its deployment, serving approximately 150,000 passengers, a move poised to significantly bolster the region's cruise tourism industry.
Resorts World Cruises, which currently operates from homeports in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Indonesia, continues to strengthen its presence across Asia with this new venture into the Arabian Gulf. The strategic expansion aligns with the growing demand for luxury cruise experiences in the region and positions Dubai as a central hub for cruise tourism in the Gulf.
The launch of this new homeport in Dubai marks a milestone for Resorts World Cruises as it seeks to diversify and enrich the cruise offerings in the Arabian Gulf, offering passengers a unique blend of luxury and adventure.
