Riyadh marks National Day with 8,000 flag installation ahead of 94th celebration

Saudi Arabia is gearing up for its 94th National Day on September 23, with large-scale preparations taking place across major cities, particularly in Riyadh. The Riyadh Municipality has taken the lead in this initiative by installing 8,000 flags throughout the city, transforming its public spaces, streets, and buildings into a display of national pride. This effort forms part of the broader celebrations planned nationwide, each city contributing to the patriotic atmosphere with its own unique touch.

In Riyadh, the flags adorn key locations, including government buildings, public squares, and major roadways. The initiative, spearheaded by the Riyadh Municipality, aims to foster a sense of unity and celebration, underscoring the theme of this year’s National Day: "We Dream and We Achieve." Large television screens have also been placed along busy streets, broadcasting messages and visuals related to the National Day festivities.
