The new headquarters, which will consist of four interconnected towers in one of Doha’s most advanced and environmentally sustainable districts, marks a significant shift for the airline. Situated just nine kilometers from its operations hub at Hamad International Airport, the new location offers enhanced connectivity, being a short distance from the Msheireb Metro Station that links all metro lines in Doha. This proximity aims to provide seamless access for employees and visitors alike.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Badr Al-Meer highlighted the airline’s focus on investing in human resources and enhancing the work environment to drive creativity, collaboration, and growth. The Msheireb site has earned the prestigious SmartScore certification, a global standard recognizing intelligent buildings that prioritize energy efficiency, cost management, and readiness for future technological advancements.
Spanning over 51,600 square meters, the new towers are designed to accommodate a wide range of employee needs, offering modern office facilities and panoramic views of the city. The site will also host cutting-edge technological infrastructure and community-focused spaces, aligning with Qatar Airways’ vision for a sustainable future. The move comes as part of a broader strategy to consolidate operations currently spread across three locations near Old Doha Airport.
