The Traverse Z71 features a redesigned silhouette that merges crossover and truck-inspired design elements, presenting a rugged yet refined presence on the road. Its planted stance, wheels positioned at the corners, and pronounced shoulders contribute to its commanding appearance. The vehicle is available in two distinct trims: the new LT and the adventure-ready, first-ever Z71, each offering unique design accents to reflect its personality.
Under the bonnet, the Traverse is powered by an all-new 2.5-litre turbocharged engine, delivering an estimated 328 horsepower and 442 Nm of torque—an impressive 19% increase in torque over previous models. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is available, including an off-road-capable twin-clutch AWD system exclusive to the Z71 trim.
Designed with modern families in mind, the Traverse comes equipped with essential safety features and cutting-edge technology. Chevrolet has included its standard Chevy Safety Assist suite, which comprises Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with advanced driver-assistance technologies, led by OnStar, the key enabler of safety, entertainment, and connectivity across GM vehicles. By downloading the myChevrolet App, drivers gain full control over the vehicle through remote commands, vehicle location, and more.
For technology enthusiasts, the Traverse boasts an all-new 17.7-inch diagonal touchscreen, offering seamless wireless connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Whether streaming music or navigating a trip, the Traverse’s technology aims to make every drive more intuitive and enjoyable. Furthermore, with an available panoramic sunroof and AutoSense Liftgate, the vehicle adds convenience to every adventure.
