Qatar's Premier Food Festival Draws Record-Breaking 365,000 Visitors

The 14th Qatar International Food Festival has concluded, attracting over 365,000 attendees during its 11-day run at Doha's Hotel Park. Organized by Visit Qatar, this year's festival showcased a diverse array of culinary experiences, solidifying its status as a premier event in the nation's cultural calendar.

Featuring more than 180 vendors, including over 28 international participants, QIFF 2025 offered a rich tapestry of global flavors. A notable addition was the Michelin Guide Village, where nine Michelin-starred restaurants presented exclusive tasting menus, providing festival-goers with an opportunity to indulge in world-class cuisine at accessible prices.

The festival also introduced the QIFF Junior Zone, engaging over 5,000 children with interactive activities and educational shows. Another highlight was the QIFF Ring, a dynamic arena hosting 36 culinary competitions. Events ranged from eating challenges to juice-making and plate-decorating contests, involving 360 contestants and awarding prizes to more than 500 winners.

Interactive workshops in the Cooking Studio allowed attendees to learn from esteemed local and international chefs. Additionally, the "Dinner in the Sky" experience offered guests a unique dining opportunity, elevating them 50 meters above ground to enjoy gourmet meals with panoramic views of Doha's skyline.

Ahmed Hamad Al Binali, Director of Festivals and Events at Visit Qatar, expressed satisfaction with the festival's success, noting its role in reinforcing Qatar's position as a leading culinary and cultural destination. He highlighted the festival's growth and its appeal to both residents and visitors through innovative themes and engaging programs.
