Emirates Expands Services to Meet Eid Al Fitr Travel Demand

Emirates Airline is set to operate 17 additional flights across the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council countries between 26 March and 6 April, anticipating over 371,000 passengers during the Eid Al Fitr holiday period.

The enhanced schedule includes six extra flights to and from Amman, Jordan; five additional services between Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai; four flights on the Dubai-Jeddah route; and two more services connecting Dubai and Kuwait.

This strategic expansion aims to provide passengers with greater flexibility to visit Dubai—a popular Eid destination—and to continue their journeys to sought-after international locations such as Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, various cities in the United Kingdom and the United States, South Africa, and key South Asian cities including Mumbai and Karachi, as well as Cairo.

The busiest departure times at Dubai International Airport's Terminal 3 are expected on 28-29 March and 4-6 April, with daily passenger numbers exceeding 80,000. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their scheduled departure to ensure a smooth travel experience.

In celebration of Eid Al Fitr, Emirates will offer a special menu on select flights to and from Dubai, featuring traditional dishes such as chicken madhbi, prawn matfi, and pistachio cake, enhancing the festive atmosphere onboard.
