Red Sea Global and Oracle Unite to Train 5,000 Saudi Nationals

Red Sea Global , the developer behind The Red Sea and AMAALA projects, has partnered with technology giant Oracle to train 5,000 Saudi nationals over the next six months. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objective of preparing the next generation for the Kingdom's rapidly growing digital economy.

The collaboration complements Oracle's broader goal of upskilling 50,000 individuals in the Kingdom through its Mostaqbali program, launched in December 2023. This multi-year initiative focuses on training Saudi citizens in cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence , machine learning, and the Internet of Things .

Reham AlMusa, Vice President of Business Applications for the Public Sector and Managing Director for Saudi Arabia at Oracle, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 by empowering local talent with skills needed for the Kingdom's rapidly growing digital economy. She stated that the collaboration with RSG will help create a strong local talent pipeline geared for the needs of Saudi Arabia's rapidly growing hospitality industry.

RSG has consistently demonstrated a commitment to empowering local communities and nurturing Saudi talent through its regenerative approach. The company has launched various educational programs, including a Vocational Training Program in collaboration with the Saudi Human Resources Development Fund . This program aims to prepare young Saudis for different careers needed at RSG, offering a certified diploma upon successful completion.

In May 2024, RSG teamed up with Oracle to introduce the Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Central platform into the Kingdom for the first time. This collaboration aimed to bring transformational hospitality technology to Saudi Arabia, enhancing the operational efficiency of RSG's luxury tourism destinations.

Oracle's Mostaqbali program, which means "My Future" in Arabic, is deployed in collaboration with Future Work and supervised by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The initiative is open to all Saudi nationals, with a particular focus on youth and women, aiming to diversify and strengthen the Kingdom's IT talent pool.
