The electronic attestation system enables users to submit documents online for verification, reducing the need for physical visits to the embassy. This advancement is expected to significantly cut down processing times and improve the overall user experience. The system aligns with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs' commitment to adopting digital solutions that facilitate international trade and personal documentation processes.
The implementation of electronic attestation services is not limited to the UAE Embassy in Kiev. Similar systems have been activated in other countries, including Bahrain and Kuwait. For instance, on 20 January 2025, the Foreign Ministry announced the activation of electronic attestation services in these nations, allowing clients to complete attestation procedures without visiting UAE missions in person. This move supports the digital transformation goals outlined in Oman Vision 2040 and aims to provide outstanding consular services to clients abroad.
The electronic attestation system is designed to handle various types of documents, including commercial invoices and certificates of origin. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the Electronic Documents Attestation System to provide digital attestation for such documents, facilitating and expediting consular transactions. This system is fully automated, allowing most documents to be attested seamlessly with minimal human intervention, thereby reducing time, effort, and expenses compared to previous processes.
