King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh has achieved a significant milestone by securing the 24th position in the Skytrax 2025 World Airport Awards, marking an 11-place advancement from the previous year. This notable rise reflects the airport's ongoing commitment to enhancing passenger experience and operational excellence.

The Skytrax World Airport Awards are regarded as a benchmark for the global airport industry, evaluating customer service and facilities across more than 570 airports worldwide. The 2025 awards were announced on 9 April 2025 at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Madrid, Spain.

This achievement is part of a series of accolades for KKIA. In 2022, the airport was recognized as the "Most Improved Airport" by Skytrax, following a 29-place jump to the 29th position in the global rankings.

Operational efficiency has been a focal point for KKIA. In 2024, the airport was named the world's most on-time large and global airport by Cirium, with 86.65% of flights departing within 15 minutes of their scheduled time. This distinction underscores the airport's dedication to punctuality and reliability.
