ROSHN Green Initiative Center Engages Schools in Environmental Education

ROSHN Group, a prominent real estate developer in Saudi Arabia and a Public Investment Fund giga project, has launched the ROSHN Green Initiative Center to bolster environmental awareness and sustainability. Situated in the SEDRA community, the RGIC serves as a hub for the ROSHN Green Initiative, providing schools, organizations, and the public with a platform to explore and contribute to environmental sustainability efforts.

The RGIC features a state-of-the-art tree nursery capable of producing approximately 2,000 trees annually. This nursery focuses on cultivating local flora to enhance green spaces within ROSHN communities and surrounding areas. Additionally, the center includes an educational facility designed to offer interactive programs aimed at educating visitors on the significance of sustainability and environmental stewardship.

In alignment with the Saudi Green Initiative, ROSHN has undertaken 93 green initiatives leading up to the Kingdom's 94th National Day. These efforts have resulted in the distribution of over 32,000 seedlings, the planting of more than 25,000 mangrove trees, and an additional 4,300 trees across various regions. The initiatives have actively involved over 3,000 volunteers and engaged 75 schools throughout the Kingdom, emphasizing the collective commitment to enhancing vegetation cover and promoting ecological awareness.
