SaudiFood Manufacturing 2025 Catalyses Global F&B Industry Growth with Strategic Deals and Innovations

SaudiFood Manufacturing 2025 commenced its second day at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre, drawing significant attention from global stakeholders in the food and beverage manufacturing sector. The event, under the patronage of Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, has become a pivotal platform for showcasing advancements and forging strategic partnerships aimed at bolstering the global manufacturing landscape.

This year's edition features participation from over 550 international brands, including industry leaders such as Allagro, Buhler, and Multivac. Country pavilions from France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Turkiye, India, Switzerland, Spain, Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, China, and Italy highlight the event's global reach and the Kingdom's ambition to position itself as a central hub in the F&B manufacturing industry.

A significant highlight of the event is the announcement of a major food packaging project, valued at SAR 1 billion over seven years. This initiative, backed by the Ministry of Investment, aims to establish one of the largest food packaging facilities in Saudi Arabia, focusing on environmentally friendly, recycled, and biodegradable materials. The project underscores the Kingdom's commitment to sustainable practices and its strategic vision to enhance the food manufacturing sector's contribution to the national economy.

The exhibition also serves as a platform for discussing the Kingdom's ambitious goals to localise 85% of its food industry by 2030, as announced by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. This localisation strategy is part of a broader effort to strengthen food security, reduce dependency on imports, and stimulate domestic production.

In addition to showcasing technological advancements, the event facilitates discussions on emerging trends such as automation, digitalisation, and the integration of artificial intelligence in food production processes. These innovations are critical for enhancing efficiency, ensuring quality, and meeting the evolving demands of consumers.
