Italian artist Eva Montanari led a notable workshop employing charcoal and fingerprint techniques to create a collaborative artwork depicting interconnected living creatures. This session, which included participation from several Italian illustrators, highlighted the 13th edition of the Sharjah Children's Book Illustrations Exhibition and invited artists to contribute to the upcoming 2026 edition.
In partnership with the Emirates Publishers Association , SBA sponsored the participation of Emirati publishers through the Sharjah Publishing Sustainability Fund . Delegates included Dalal AlJaberi from Hezaya Publishing House, Fatema AlHammadi from Sohub Publishing, and Shatha Nasser from Kairus Publishing House. This initiative provided a platform for Emirati publishers to engage with international counterparts, explore new markets, and showcase their publications.
